Osbornes Property Picks of the Month

Welcome to our Newsletter. Winter is just around the corner and there has been a lot of snow over the last week. Fingers crossed for a great ski season.
Speaking to key parties in the town bookings are up for accommodation and ski packages. The American Express Winter Festival is set to kick off on the 26th June and it is always action packed week of fun and activities.

Sale volumes have been high across, homes, apartments and sections. Lots of buyers are getting back in to the market not wanting to miss out on key properties.
Apartment mortgagee sales have been prevalent in some complexes.
Another reduction in the Official Cash Rate and low exchange rates has enabled more people to get into the market.

 

Our auction and tender programmes have been working well for vendors and we have had a number of multi offers on properties.

We are currently short of Apartments and quality homes in the range of $400,000 - $625,000 to satisfy buyers. We are also seeing strong demand for quality homes on Queenstown Hill.
We had two great listings in Frankton that sold very quickly and still have buyers looking for property in this area.

Overall this month we have seen some strong signs of the market picking up and buyers getting back into the market.
